We went and had an elective sonogram because we wanted to know the gender. My husband was really wanting a girl. When the sonogram tech said it was a boy I saw the disappointment on his face. Then the rest of the day he just seemed down. I was so excited but didn't feel I could show it because he didn't seem happy. I understand that a lot of people have their wish  of what they want, but should it make you sad? We have been trying for a year and a half for this baby, and I'm just happy to be pregnant!
