So I'm about to be a Junior majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis. I'm a realistic girl, so I know it's going to be nearly impossible to get a job after college with that degree. I'm studying it because it's what I love and I want to become a better creative writer. I took a ton of credits at the community college I just graduated from so I have the added bonus of being able to double major without extending my time at the university I'll be going to. I'm interested in the technical communication program. They offer a certificate and a degree in tech comm. My question is what's the difference? I mean I know one requires less classes, but am I eligible for the same jobs? I want to know which choice sets me up better for finding a job after college.
