when am I in labor?

Can you go into labor if you're only 1CM? I'm very confused as to when to go to the hospital. I'm only 1CM but is it possible for me to start having contractions or for my water to break? Someone please break it down for me lol

I'm 38 and 3 days and as of today am 1 cm dilated. Sadly, it doesn't indicate how much time you have left. Dr said I could go into active labor tomorrow or in two weeks. She says to go to the hospital if my water breaks or if I've had contractions 5 minutes apart, 1 minute long, for 1 hour.

I think you're suppose to wait until your contractions are 2 to 5 minutes every 2 hours. Because if u go now then no doubt they'll send you back home.

I was dilated to 1 centimeter for weeks before I was induced at 41+1.
