At least at my school there never was and neither at my cousins. I see all the time these girls complaining about the "popular" kids. Like what makes them popular and why is that so bad??? At my school as definitely had the groups of friends and a lot of the student athletes were friends but they were never bullies or anything. I feel like the people who complain about the "popular" kids are delusional sad people who feel that they were given the short straw in life. News flash everyone has awful things happen to them you probably just don't know about other people's. Bullies and dicks are real but I believe the stereotypical popular kids are only in movies. Just a rant sorry.
