help..

Ok so this month was hoping to get pregnant obviously but got a BFN so I waited for my period that was supposed to start the 27th well I turn around and I start 3 days early and then it only lasted 3 days.  My period is consistent at 23 days in between and lasts 5 days... has anyone experienced this random change and if so any explanation as to why.
