BHCG low???

Question

Hi all, my BHCG at 5 weeks +  1 day by dates was only 179- I'm worried this is too low? Could I have an ectopic? Or just ovulated later?? Some heartburn but no other symptoms. I'm freaking out! Thanks!

The first number doesn't matter, what matters is that it continues to double every 48-72 hours

You are OK as lond as it doubles every 48 hours. You are probably earlier than you think!
