Dear Scarlet,
The hospital called at 4:54am. We got to the hospital at 7:30am. They started the pitocin at around 8:30am.
Currently at 1 milliunits of pitocin. They'll increase by 2 every thirty minutes.

10:30am broke my water
-made contractions come full force
Currently at 7 milliunits of pitocin
11am epidural
-gave me the shakes
-gave me the giggles
-made me slightly itchy
OMG THE DRUGS ARE GOOD.
11:38am cervical check - 5/6 cm 80% effaced
11:57am lowered my pitocin to 3 milliunits because contractions were coming too fast (every minute)
1:45pm 10 cm dilated, time to push!
1:47pm Scarlet Slater is born!
8 lbs 3 oz
20 inches long
13 head circumference
Only took one big push!
