It does, HOWEVER a day after I took it I bleed for a week straight. Bad bad bad symptoms if you under 110 lbs.

It does to a certain extent. It depends on how soon you take it after the whoops moment.

Also, it is not something to take often as it limits the chance of working properly or working any at all

I just took one yesterday and I've been having cramps from hell, not supposed to start my period for another 12 days but I'm keeping and eye out because I keep hearing it throws your cycle off.

Make sure to use contraceptives in the weeks, months, after using the morning after pill. It throws your cycle off, big time. You may not know when your fertile or even when to count day one.
