I'm 5 weeks pregnant.... Prayed for the child I am carrying.... I have felt GREAT!!!!! & Monday, I fell ill... Tuesday went to work, but could barely work, had a terrible sore throat, felt faint, fever kept spiking, high was 101.3 & was having backaches, aches all over, cramps, and felt all around TERRIBLE. Ended up leaving work after 1.5hrs & going to MD... STREP THROAT... 10 days of antibiotics & Tylenol to keep fever at bay.... 

How did this happen to me!? I prayed for this child and here I am sick as ever... Temps spiking... Can't breathe... Throat RAW! 

God kept urging me to read my Bible. Well... I opened my little Bible app probably 5hrs after He told me & this is what it read... (Message Version)

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.” James 1:2-8 MSG

THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES.... As soon as I found I had strep throat... I went straight to Google & then Glow to search.... Worried about baby.... I can't do that... I asked God for this child so I must not fret when my faith is being tested.... This is the time where I need to say... "God you promised me a healthy child & I believe you & I trust in YOU that despite how ill I may be in this current moment, you WILL heal me & this unborn child will not be harmed." 

If we have prayed for a child for our precious gift from God.... Every cramp, every spotting episode, every tinge & tickle.... We can't go to Google & Glow.... We need to go to GOD! For He is the Giver of Life & Our Go-To... We can't worry. We have to TRUST in Him.

Be encouraged whoever you may be, & know that God is ABLE yo do exceedingly, abundantly, above ALL that we could ever ask or think... According to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus...!!! He is the God of IMPOSSIBLE....! ❤️❤️❤️
