pregnant after ectopic?

Question

Any ladies have any luck conceiving after having a tube removed? I'm so scared I won't be able to conceive again and even more scared that if I do I will have another ectopic pregnancy. Would love to hear any success stories :)

Hi Jessica. My names Annette :) I had a ruptured ectopic in dec 2013, I lost 4 litres of blood , had septicaemia, was in intensive care and lost my left tube I was very poorly. We started trying again 3 months after and now 3 months on ttc I am pregnant! I'm 5 weeks it's early days but my blood tests have been rising really well which indicates baby is growing in the right place and I have a scan in next week to confirm it is in the right place. I understand your concern I'm still worried now but the way I see it is they took away the bad tube because it's bad your more likely to have another one if the bad tube is still there. I couldn't believe it when I got my bfp I nearly fell off my chair. I thought it would take years with 1 tube but it didn't it took just 3 months! Good luck too you x
