postpartum hair loss... when does it end?

My son is a little over 4 months and my hair just keeps coming out in clumps. I'm honestly afraid of going bald. I am not breastfeeding but I'm taking a multivitamin. When does this end. It's starting to scare me how much I'm losing. My ponytail is significantly thinner as well. Please help! I'm about to call the doctor to see if something is wrong. I'm a FTM if you couldn't tell.

I'm dealing with this as well! Normally I don't shed at all! And last month it comes out in clumps as well! It's def scary as I already have thin hair!

Lol I'm on the same boat I feel like I'm going bald it's shedding so bad that the ends looked like I left a flat iron on it for like an hour it just got horrible I ended up cutting it the other day really short! Lol it took me foreverrr to get it to grow long but o well 💁

Me too ARGH! My hair is already thin and it has started shedding SO badly from 3 months PP. I bought biotin supplements to take alongside my breastfeeding multivitamin, I am hoping it helps in ANY way 😣😩

It's different for everyone, but there's nothing to worry about unless you have literal bald patches. Your hair will thin beyond what it was pre-pregnancy, then grow back in like it was before. I think it sheds for a couple months. Try some volumizing shampoo/conditioner/styling products for now. Nobody else is noticing your hair so don't worry too much :)
