Il be 37 weeks this Saturday My midwife told me I could take a chocolate laxative but I've heard it makes your baby have its first poo idk what to do 😩😭 HELP I'm scared I've tried everything this is the only option left I've always had trouble I dont even rember the last time I had a bowel movement thats how long its been

Not everyone has diarrhea before labor so I wouldn't count on that and if you're that constipated a laxative is not going to give you diarrhea. Also your baby will be fine. If you don't want to try a laxative yet, try prune juice. I swear it works miracles.

I use coffee to help. Also when my water broke and contractions started I pooped like 3-4 times

You will poop soon enough. When you get close to labor you will start to have diarea. I had it with both pregnancies.
