How long after you lost your mucus plug did you give birth?

I am losing my mucus plug but I have read that it could still be weeks until I go into labor! I am so ready to meet my little boy, so I just wanted to see how long you ladies had to wait after losing your mucus plug before you went into labor.

One week. Before I get judged, I had medical reasons for my doctor telling me he wouldn't let me go past my due date. So at 38 weeks I had a membrane strip. Still nothing. At 39 weeks I had a second one and definitely lost the mucus plug the next day. I got so excited and was waiting in anticipation because I did NOT want to be induced. 6 days later was my due date and still nothing! Fortunately I went into labor late, late, late at night and had my baby boy without an induction by the next night.

Lost mine 2.5 hours before he was born. I was transitioning from latent to active labor when I lost it.

My water broke 4 hours after I lost my mucus plug. I was 37 weeks, first pregnancy.

Lost mine at 40 weeks and 3 days, had baby at 40 weeks and 5 days. 48 hours.

I went to the dr to let them know I lost mine they just sent me home and later that night around 9:30 right as we were going to bed I felt an awful pain so I got up to go to the bathroom before I even had a chance to sit down to pee my water broke. So to the hospital we went after getting there found out he used the restroom inside me. My son was suppose to have surgery after he was born so my hometown hospital had to send me Birmingham which is 1 1/2 hours or so from my house. So had to endure a ambulance ride by myself bc they don't allow anyone but a nurse. Which was awful especially being first baby and all I just wanted someone with me. Had my son via csection because I couldn't get him past my pelvic and the hospital would not allow me to change positions. He was 8 lbs 12 oz. Now he is probably 28 lbs and getting so big.

I lost mine in 2 stages. First part was a week or so before and then the day before I went into labor I lost the rest of it .

I lost mines at around 3pm water broke around 2 am pushed him out at around 11am so a Lil less than 24 hours

I lost some of mine within 3 days and the rest when my water broke 12 hours before birth. I was in labor for those 3 days though. 
However my sister in law lost hers over a month before her LO was born. It's not a reliable sign at all.
