Is heartburn a sign of pregnancy?

I have never had heart burn in my whole life. The other night my chest starts to hurt on the left side. It was hurting so bad, I couldn't even lay down because nothing seemed to relieve it. I started spitting brown yesterday but I am not supposed to start until 2 weeks from now. Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

Yes!! I had severe heartburn all the time, before I found out that I am pregnant! Baby dust..!:):)

I never had heart burn until I got pregnant and only get it while pregnant. I've had it terriblely this 2nd pregnancy (24w)
