What sizes did you buy most of?

I'm stuck on what sizes I should buy when shopping for cloths. I'm having a little girl due Dec 1st and a lot of friends an family are telling me to buy newborn for a lot of her winter sizes. Does that sound about right I just don't wanna get 0-3 if they will be swinging on her. She is measuring smaller at the moment.

Had my daughter at 37 weeks, she was 6lbs 13oz. My daughter wore newborn clothes for 6 weeks.

I've found that my daughter had to go up a size about every 6-7 weeks. And just so you know (because I didn't know), clothes labeled as "3 month" are the same size as those labeled as "0-3 month". I thought 3 month clothes was bigger than 0-3 month so I brought them out too late. It was already getting small on her by the time I started using it. Just something I wish I knew as a first time mom lol.

0-3 month = 3 month 
3-6 month = 6 month 
6-9 month =9 month

My baby girl was in newborn for 2 months and she's now six months and wearing 3-6 month clothes.  She was 6.15 oz when born.  She is still in size 1 diapers lol.  It's hard to know but the good thing was she was born dec 30th so we were inside for majority of time and I just kept her in footy pjs all day everyday

My daughter was in newborn for about 6 or 7 weeks then switched over to 3 months and stayed in those for about a month then switched to 6 months when she turned 10 weeks. I had more 3 month clothing than both newborn and 6 month combined.

Baby's only stay in newborn for a little under a month on average, but since she's measuring small she'd probably be in them longer. And since she's born right in December, where at least where I'm from that's when winter gets its worst, you should probably get most her winter clothes in newborn
