Birth control: Yes or No?

I want  to be on birth control but ive heard soo many bad things. My period last 8 days and the main reason to be on it is to regulate everything. Also, u can never be to sure about pregnancy. What should I do?! So lost right now 😩😳😧 Please comment anything I need to know below

There are so many different kinds of birth control. If one doesn't agree with you ask your doctor to prescribe a different kind. It's a lot of trial and error. When I was on it I think I tried 5 different kinds before I found one right for me. Good luck

I was on a low dose pill for 8 months and I didn't like how it made me so moody. The periods were nice, though. You could always try a low dose and see how it affects you through a couple of cycles. It's not hard to stop it and use another method if you don't like it.

When it comes to birth control you can't just stop because gives you symptoms you don't like. Tell your doctor and they will switch you to another. It took me three times to find the one that worked for me.

I have birth control pills been on and off for 5 years and when I have been on it I have never had any problems with it :)

I'm on the pill and I haven't had any negative side effects or anything, my periods were also about 8 days and now they're about 4, I had really bad cramps and now they're very mild, periods are more regulated, helping with acne, but everyone is different I would maybe try out a few different methods I'm sure one will work for you!

Everyone is different but I don't like birth control and don't use it. I was on it for 4 years and will never go back. I track my ovulation and pay close attention to my cycle and have never had a problem.

I took birthcontrol for 3 years. I liked how I knew when my period would come and every was regular while taking it. I recently stopped taking it in October and my periods were all messed up coming off of it. But no it's regulated to 37 day cycles and very light for 4-5 days.

I've been on the pill for 7 years and haven't had any issues (other than remembering to take it!). My periods are irregular, long, and painful (and of course I'm NOT trying to have a baby yet)- the pill had helped me with ALL of those things. 
Go have a sit down with your doc and go over the different options to figure out what's best for you.
