How do you survive the week/what are some tips for when your period jacks your depression up to an 11?

Answer

I was asking this two weeks ago for myself. So I made a long list of reminders for when I can't just roll myself into a giant comforter burrito and live in warm isolated darkness.... here are a few:
(Applies M-Fri) Yes, you have to put on clothes to go to work!

Open the curtains; it's bright, I know, but do it.

Change rooms or walk around every couple hours. (No Netflix in bed!)

Hydrate!

Put on peaceful/calming music (classical or meditation) NO go-to mood-matching (amping) music!

Eat something...besides chips.

Maybe go for a walk... if you're feeling very brave... if not, stand outside for 5mins (also have to be dressed for this one).

Color/read/watch a favorite movie.

Hydrate!!!

Just a few, but above all, remember:  just get through Today, one day at a time.
