Anyone else's SO not want to TTC after MC?

He says we should enjoy it being just us and focus on remodeling the house. Doesn't he understand how badly I want a baby??

It sounds like he's still emotionally healing from the miscarriage but doesn't want to come out and say it.

My husband asked me if I was sure I wanted to try again. I said "definitely" even tho this was the worst experience of my life

My hubby said we want to hold our baby asap, so it just makes sense to try again.

My husband was very torn. It was one of the hardest experiences in our lives and he didn't want me to go through it again but he realized how badly he wanted a kid. So he wanted me to make the decision. When I had bad days and was struggling he would bring up that we could stop and we would be perfectly happy on our own. When I was in a good mood, he started pouncing me for BD every other day like i used to have to nag him for before the miscarriage lol. 
This last time after we finished, he hushed up, grabbed my shoulders, stared into my eyes and said firmly "Baby." I asked him what he was doing and he said he was willing it into existence 😂
Guys grieve too, and even though they don't go through that physical loss, they need time to heal. Everyone reacts differently. I'd talk to your husband and share your anxiety.

Men deal with their grief so differently than we do. I miscarried in May with our first baby. I was broken for a while. My husband was so wonderful and supportive. When I could finally catch my breath I realized how devasted he was too. Men want to be strong for us so sometimes they put their pain on a shelf. I learned my husband had been crying in the closet at night after I would fall asleep. I know it's hard but just give him some time to heal. Best of luck.

My first pregnancy was so unplanned! And my partner was over the moon. I had a MC 4 weeks ago. And it didn't really hit him till a couple of weeks after. But I was in awe and in shock when HE said he wanted to try again before I could even bring anything up!

Hoping AF doesn't show her face. But think I'll be just as happy if she does for 1 cycle so I can start tracking properly
