Light First Period after Missed Miscarriage
So about 5-6 weeks ago I had to take misoprostal for a missed miscarriage. I would have been about 11 weeks at that time.
After about two weeks of bleeding and ultrasound confirmation that the fetal tissue has passed I am now having what I assume to be my first period. (This is four weeks after the two weeks of bleeding.) Though the ultrasound technician did say my uterine lining was still very thick and irregular.
What worries me is that this period seems so light. Lighter than any period I've ever had before. It's more than spotting, but I scarcely feel like I even need more than a pantyliner. I also have had no cramping or breast tenderness that I would usually have during a normal period.
Does this seem normal? Has anyone else experienced very light periods after a miscarriage?
