Hi everyone! Just to get it out of the way: I'm 17, female, and technically asexual. I say technically because I identify as heterosexual to other people because then they don't ask if I reproduce like a plant or like things other than people.

Anyway, I was wondering: Do I have to have s-e-x? I'm going to college in August, and I wanted to know if it was one of those "not mandatory, but you really should" things. People tell me that I'd like it if I tried it or that I have to do it eventually, but I don't want to. I'm perfectly happy the way that I am.

So, what do you think: do I have to s-e-x during my lifetime or can I stay a virgin?
