Hi ladies and if there is any gents on here too. So im a ftm and my lo was born May 2 on his daddy's bday but wasnt suppose to be born until the 13th of may. So yesterday i was at my friends house and her grandmother was just coming home from work. So some minutes go by and after i got done feeding my son her gma comes out of no where and askes me do i hold him alot and i was like yea i do. Then she started going on and telling me that he spoiled and that i need to put him down and that im holding him to much. That he is hot and keeps crying alot. That im patting him to hard. Always keep nagging that i need to let him cry and stop holding him. That rich people let there babies cry it out and leave them in there crib. Im like he is only 8 weeks old and will be 2 months on july 2. Im just saying to my self like im not lile those rich people. Im not goong to let my baby cry it out in the crib or on the floor. She was even saying that i should lay him on his back and stomach more and let him be. So sje puts him on the floor which i think is disgusting because they have dogs that like to piss everywhere and there is dog fur and on top of that they like to start going haywire when they hear people coming in. I was saying to her i do let him do tummy time and i do it only when im at home. But i was extremely annoying and im starting to get tired of people telling me how to raised my first born. I will listen to your advice but dont guarantee that i will use them unless i ask you. Its just fruastrating. I just want to know what do you mommies do or did with your kids in general?? Did you take their advice or just ignore them. Tell themm how it is??
