Triple X Syndrome showed up in genetic blood test

Has anyone ever done the 10 week blood test & had your genetic Counsler tell you they detected an extra chromosome in your blood work?  This happened to us yesterday .  It was the worst way to find out we are having a girl bc the genetic counselor has never seen this before & neither has my OBGYN.  I now have to wait 4 weeks to do an Amnio to find out if it was a false positive, if the triple x DNA is only in the placenta, & not in the fetus, if the fetus only has it on a couple chromosomes, or if it more fatal & on all chromosomes.  We are really scared & freaked out.  No one seems to know much about this & I was hoping to hear from other pregnant women who went through this & what happened to them.
