how long after a c section can I take a bath?

How long after you got your c section did you take a bath? It's been 2 weeks 3 days since I had mine ( it's a vertical one) and all the bandages came off, it looks completely healed on the outside ( my stitches are on the inside ) there's no open wound or anything, plus I haven't had any pain since last week. Would it be okay for me to finally take a bath? I don't see what the problem would be, I don't have an incision anymore so it can't get infected. The doctor said to wait 6 weeks before having sex, but I never asked about a bath. 
UPDATE ; my doctor cleared me at my 3 week appointment (:she said as long as the skin is healed it's okay, she said to just make sure to clean my bathtub

I took showers for 5 weeks then bathed at 6wks. You should also take showers until the bleed from having baby has completely stopped. Id await a little longer its very early and the wound is healing still with the skin still new. Id await to minimum of 4 weeks but its your decision

It depends on whether you were dilated. With my first two kids (1 vaginal and 1 C-section) I waited 6 weeks until the dr cleared me. With my third (C-section) I never dilated and the dr said fine after 4 weeks.

Call your OB and ask instead of random people here on glow. Your dr knows your birth best.
