Would sex help me move on?

A boy just broke my heart Monday and I still love him and I feel like the only way to get over him is having sex with another boy but then I feel like I will regret it. Any advice on how to move on from a boy?

I did this... it didn't help. I remember the first time I had sex with a guy after me and my boyfriend broke up. In the heat of the moment it's great because you have all this stress, sadness, tension radiating through your body then a release... but with that release I cried soooooo hard. I couldn't stop crying which made me feel bad which made me cry more.. The guy was very understanding, He just held me for a while but it wasn't my person... he was just a person and I wanted MY person.

The best thing you can do is allow yourself to go through the pain. NOT get over it. Cause if you go through it you'll become stronger and defeat it. Please be strong enough to go through it and not just sit in it. It's a process but Time heals...

Meh I wouldn't. Because it might not be as simple as just having sex with someone else so then after you still feel sad and you had pointless sex which might make you feel worse. Obviously your body, your choice and if you think it will be good, go for it! I'm just not sure it's solving anything and certainly not getting to the real issue
