Any advice on essentials to bring to college? Also what not to bring?

like to a dorm that you're moving into or just going to a college locally ? Like what you would put in your book bag? I literally only brought a journal for each class, a folder for each, pencils, pens, highlighters in a little bag, mini stapler, scissors, and some snacks. Also put like 5$ in your bag for scantrons I always had to pay for mine like 25 cents a piece.
