Depends, do I have enough money to do so? Am I moving there to be closer to family or it's a place I want to live? Do I need that job to survive?

If there was a job advertised and it was too far to commute but I hadn't yet got the job, no I wouldn't move. That's putting all your eggs in one basket.

I think it would depend on the job market and knowing that the field I would intend on going in had a readily available selection of openings.

Well I just bought a house in a different state and I don't have a job lol. But my family is financially okay without a job at the moment. Just depends on the situation.

It depends. Personally if my household depended on me being employed then I would secure the job first and then move. So I'd live in an apartment or with a family member then make the full blown move.
