So my boyfriend of 5 years doesnt feel like its important to let me know personal business... he makes alot of moves with out me.... for example our transmission went out on our car 3 days ago and i havent heard anything about what he plans on doing... unless i ask!! Wtf.... i think im gonna leave him i cant take it... hes tooo private for me..... and when i get mad about him not talking to me... im wrong!!! he knows my every move and i dont know anything he does! We're to the point in our relationship where we dont even talk things through.... after arguements....

I'm just surprised that he's now acting like this after 5 years He sounds very controlling is it possible he doesn't want to be in the relationship anymore

First I'll say if he is controlling and insists on knowing your every move but is genuinely sneaky about his, Then maybe my reply is off base.... but here's the thing 6 years of marriage and lot of marital counseling has thought me, guys are different than girls! I used to hate asking about every little thing, because I felt like a nag, but it doesn't occur to men to just share with us unless we ask! They just aren't that good at communicating . The counseling has helped my husband and I a lot. He works really hard at sharing more and I am more understanding and ask when I want to know something he's not volunteering. I think it will always be a struggle, but that's what relationships are... Working through the hard stuff.
