Tongue Tied

Betsey
Our pediatrician mentioned that our Wyatt looks like he "may be tongue tied"....she then asked how he is feeding; He is eating fine. He is gaining weight and latches on to a bottle and boob. He is great at sucking both. However the pediatrician also mentioned that being tongue tied can cause speech problems and that the procedure to fix it is very simple. I'm just concerned about fixing something that technically isn't broken! If he is eating well, then do we really need to get the procedure done? And if we do, what is the recovery time? Should we see another pediatrician to get a second opinion? Wyatt is almost a month old. Has anyone gone through this?
