7dpo and light cramping.

I took a pregnancy test today, negative which I figured but I was an eager beaver and just wanted to do it in case lol but I've been having light cramping for 3 days now which is not a usual symptom for me before my period. I get TERRIBLE cramps the first 2 days of my period but never little light ones before. Anyone else have light cramping and ended up preggers? Or is this just a new symptom of my PMS?
