Does anyone know if it's safe to take Tylenol if I take a daily aspirin ?

I am a physician. You can take aspirin and Tylenol together. The max dose of Tylenol in 24 hrs is 4000 mg unless you have liver disease then it is 3000 mg or less if disease is severe. If you are taking more than a baby aspirin daily and it is not prescribed by your physician, you should reconsider it due to risk to stomach and kidneys.

I'd be more concerned about taking a daily aspirin as long term use of NSAIDs is very dangerous for your health. Unless a doctor is prescribing the aspirin then that's a bigger concern health wise. You should be ok to take Tylenol, but you should wait 2-6hrs (depends on the strength of the drug and dosage- often it'll say something on the bottle) between taking different medications. Read both labels as well- it'll say if these drugs shouldn't be taken together. Also calling your doctor or pharmacist to check is always a good idea.

If I have to take any Tylenol, I just skip the aspirin that day to be safe.
