When I first told my closest friends about my pregnancy, they were all very excited and started making plans for my baby shower then and there!! However since then, I've grown apart from one of my friends and feel like we're all more distant in general... I really do want to have a baby shower but I've read that it's not really acceptable to throw your own. Do I speak to my friends and ask how the plans are going or is that rude? Do I just go straight ahead and plan my own? Should I ask someone else if they would? Or do I just wait and see if they do anything? I don't know what I should do!! Either way I come off badly, but I don't want to wait until I'm 38 weeks to find out nothing's happenig... I'm almost 20 weeks x
