Should I get mad at him for not remembering 9 month anniversary?

Today is our 9 month anniversary. I've told him when we first started dating I'm not all into anniversaries but a small gesture (no gifts) is what I like. Every month I always make him something, like a booklet of what I love about him etc.

Today is our 9th month. Should I be mad at him if he doesn't acknowledge or remember wat today is? All I'm looking for is some sweet talk of how we met 9 months ago etc. again i don't care for gifts.

Your expectations are a little unrealistic in my opinion. I understand the gesture would be nice but you can't honestly expect that every single month...

Relax and enjoy the time. I would be more upset if he spaced an important anniversary. Like the 1 year, 2 year, etc.

anni- means year. monthaversary I think is what you're looking for and it took me 4 years to realize my love muffin isn't as sentimental as I am, that's just not who he is. but I love to be so it's on me to decide if I'm ohk with him not being on top of all that or not. I think I am.

My boyfriend and I don't really do anything besides like "Happy (whatever) months babe" and that's it. Nothing extravagant. No big gesture. But I guess all you want is a simple acknowledgement which is okay but I don't think its worth getting upset over.

Not to sound rude because it's great that you are excited about your relationship with youe guy (😊💕) but 9 months isn't an anniversary rather just an additional month that you've been together. It's great that your relationship is progressing but 9 months is not a huge milestone for most people so no need to get mad at your SO!

I can tell you right now the best things are unexpected I'm married and my husband and I never celebrated months dating, however randomly he'd send me flowers just to show he cared but those types of things shouldn't be expected from him it feels so much better when he does something because he truly wanted to
