Do your January (ish) babies sleep in their own room?

I'm thinking about making the transition cold turkey but I think I'm not ready. She's too long for her bassinet and I'm terrified for her to be in there alone 😭😭😭😭😭 Severe anxiety and panic disorder doesn't help being a FTM!

My husband is trying to rush her into her own room but I just can't do it yet. For one thing, she's still waking once or twice a night to feed and it really is easiest for her and a bottle to be right there next to the bed. And since it reduces sids risk, i want her by my side (in her pack n play) bc it's such a short time in her life and it'll all be a distant memory so fast. How could I NOT want to sleep next to this??

I loved mine at 3 months and she sleeps so much better in there.  No problems at all.

We have our bedtime routine in our son's nursery, and put him down to sleep in his crib. Then once he wakes up (usually 4 - 5 hours after bedtime) I will bring him into our bed where we co-sleep the rest of the night. Baby is EBF, so it just makes nursing 2 or 3 times the rest of the night much easier on everyone. Plus I love having my little nugget close by. It's kind of the best of both. 💜

We just transitioned from the pack n play in our room to the crib in the nursery. He does fine but I wake up all the time now. Every noise on our video monitor wakes me up. He used to toss and turn and not wake me up. Hopefully it'll get better. But like I said...the transition was super easy for my son.

Mine does but his room is attached to mine and I set it up so I can see his crib from the bottom of my bed 😜 I cheated a little

When my son outgrew his bassinet I moved him to a playpen beside my bed. I'm thinking of moving him to his crib in his room around 6 months but don't know if I'm ready yet either! 😣😦

I put mine in his own room at 2 months, he's slept through and was too big for the bassinet. I obviously still wake up in the middle of the night to check on him and my other toddler

It's recommended to keep baby in parents room until they're one to reduce the risk of SIDS. Our room is big enough to fit her cot, so she will sleep in our room until she's 12+ months.

My daughter is six months and still sleeps in the bed with us.  Next week we are going to FL for a week and the bed is not big enough to fit all three of us so she will have to sleep in her pack in play beside the bed

Its a tight squeeze but we have my son's crib next to our queen size bed. Im not ready to move him out just yet either even though he pretty much sleeps through the night. My oldest didnt move into her own room until she was 10 months old. My son and daughter are going to have to share a room until we can get a bigger place which is why im a little hesitant to move him out just yet, the both have good but separate sleeping routines and i dont want to mess it it up since it works so well.
