FTM, High fluid?

 I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I've been monitored the last 4 weeks for high levels of amniotic fluid. They have me doing a NST, followed by an ultrasound to measure the amount of fluid. It was 30cm, then 24 cm, then 28 cm, then 26 cm. My doctor mentioned inducing me at my last appointment because the high fluid level is dangerous for me and my daughter. Has anyone else dealt with this? Were you induced? When did they induce you? What were your fluid levels at when they induced you? Thank you!!
