Too impatient

Today I am 39 weeks. I went into the hospital yesterday because I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid. They hook me up and tell me I'm having contractions back to back for like almost an hour. They check to see if I've dilated and if I was in fact leaking. I wasn't leaking and low and behold I am STILL 1CM dilated and 50% effaced. They swept my membranes again to see if it would help. I've had contractions for the past two weeks and nothing has changed. Lord, I need some patience, I just want my little girl here. 😭
