PIERCINGS DO NOT WORK FOR ME😡

So I am really considering getting my cartlidge pierced for the third time..but it may be a stupid idea. I was gonna ask any of you who have experience with piercings. So, the first time I got mine done, it ended up getting infected and nothing I was doing for months healed it, so I just took it out and it healed on its on. I then got my other ear done and it started to develop a little bump beside the piercing. I read online to leave it in, so I did and used tea tree oil to help it, but it just got worse and bled and hurt so bad. So after weeks, I took it out and used tea tree oil and the bump reduced so much in size. It's still there, but barely, and isn't infected or anything. The first time I got it done at claire's, and the second was done at a tattoo shop after learning a needle was the way to go. I used a claire's piercing earring both times.
