How many Henrys?

Question

My husband and I both like the name Henry but some of our friends have warned that there are a lot of Henrys in their young kids' day cares and kindergartens. True?

I works at a preschool - 12 school, and I am 99% sure we don't have a single Henry in our population of 1850+. I love it though, I think it's adorable, and grows well. It's not like a name that sounds great as an adult but sounds entirely too grown up for a baby, or vice versa.

We named our son Henry a year and a half ago.  We haven't heard of any Henry's yet in our area.  We love it!

I would choose Henry if my close cousin didn't name their son that on feb!
It's a great name!

Also- since 2009 people have changed the way they name kids.

Even though Liam or Jacob or whatever is number one on the top names list, there are less of those names than the number 1's since the mid 2000's.  The variety of names has changed. So common names- arnt as common as the Ashley or Amanda of my generation!

I wonder if it is regional??? Here in the SF Bay Area, I consult in many schools and there are quite a few in the earlier grades but not so many that I'd worry about there being any more than 1 other in his class.
