Would you let your child go to your ex's house with older older siblings?

My older children for my ex husband ask if their younger sister can go with them sometimes. He and his wife have even mentioned and offered this on numerous occasions. Initially I said I don't think so. Lately been toying with the idea. Husband is totally against it. I would never go behind him and allow this. Just curious to see how others feel about this.

It really depends. Are you all on good terms? Do you trust them? How old are the kids? Would it just be a few hours thing or overnight? Ultimately you're the mama. You know what's best

If your older kids are being well taken care of I would. My daughter goes to my ex husbands for the weekend and I'm sure when I have my other child and older daughter wanted to spend time with her over there I wouldn't have a problem. It's all about your comfort level....

I don't think my husband would allow our kids to go to his ex's house but I think I would be fine with it as long as I know my kids are safe

My daughter goes along on visits to my stepchildrens mothers house all the time. They love her & she's a part of their family too. Whether they're visiting extended family of theirs or just hanging out at their mom's for the weekend. We even plan big family events, all go camping together, holidays, etc. However, it's not everyone's cup of tea & I get it. But, the bonus side of this is that my husband's ex is one of my best friends now.

they are siblings right ?? why keep them apart or from each other? they have nothing to do with life problems... let them get to know each other , spend time with each other!

It depends on your relationship with them. If she misses her sigligs when they are gone or they miss her, and your ex and his wife have offered, I don't see any issue with it. Your hubby might just be really protective because that's his little girl, and while he is playing a fatherly role in your children's life, maybe he doesn't want your ex having any kind of father-like role in her life.

Everything is about trust and being comfortable. Even though it ended on a negative or positive note. I will never stop my children from knowing their siblings. I don't believe in keeping children from their brothers and sisters because the parents don't get along. In the event one parent had abuse issues then no i wouldn't unless they were supervised.

It depends. My brother and his second wife have a good relationship with his ex wife so if it's for a birthday party or something like that then they have no problem with it... However, her ex husband would be a no go. They'd never allow their son with him. 
When my husband and I have children (God willing) they will not be allowed at his ex wife's alone. She is a horrible person IMHO. So it depends. 
But if your hubby is straight up against it. I wouldn't push it.

Confused, why is one child not seeing their dad when the other ones are? Or are they half siblings?
