My boyfriend is a white country boy and i love him to the moon and back. Since we've been together we have gotten a lot of negative comments because i'm african american and some of his family are those die hard confederates (not the ones that are proud southerners but the ones who use that flag to symbolize hate) i've went all my life with the negative comments so it doesn't really phase me but one thought has been bothering me..i would really hate for our baby to be rejected by his/her own family just because they're biracial. I don't know if anyone has delt with this personally but i really need some type of advice to ease those suspicions. I'm really big on family and i would never want to put my child in a situation or environment where they feel judged and unwanted by the one group of people that's supposed to love them unconditionally. Help? Please?!!
