I've been educating my husband about my luxury addiction and luckily he's been supportive lol, I'm glad he sees chanel bags as a good investment 👛😂🙏🏻

Personal opinion : if you're shopping within your means (and your shopping isn't preventing you from saving up for something you had both agreed to save up for like a huge trip or a new house), there shouldn't be an issue of a spouse being comfortable or not because there's no issue. If your spouse is uncomfortable, that's a sign you probably need to rein it in. 
My husband has no problem when I come home with something expensive because if I've purchased it, we can afford it. 
And let's be careful throwing out the word "investment"... A channel bag is not one ;)

I actually had to fix my shopping habits cause i liked to grab a lot of random things all the time lol. Hubby helped me with my bad habits. Now if i want something above 15$ i make myself think about it. And if its a big purchase like over 50$ i ask him. If i really want it I'll just  bug him for a couple months or I'll eventually forget about it (which means i didnt need it lol).

My bad shopping habit is shoes..he thinks i have too many. I told him you can never have too many shoes. He thinks I'm crazy but i wore him down so be buys me a pair every once in awhile so I save some money 😂😂
