weight gain on pill ?

Can anyone tell me their experience with the pill for weight changes? I've avoided going on it for ages because I've heard the rumours of weight gain but the doc put me on it for skin issues and told me I shouldn't gain weight. I've been on it for a week and already showing up around 3/4kgs heavier and feel quite bloated. My weight does fluctuate a lot so I'm not sure if I'm just being paranoid or what? Help and experience will be muchly appreciated! Q

I asked my doctor about that. She says it's a rumor and if people gain weight it's because their hormones are trying to adjust which can cause increases appatite. But if you eat like normal it should be fine.

As long as you're working out and eating a healthy regular diet then you shouldn't gain any weight.

Thanks so much girls! Hopefully I am just being paranoid and honestly I have been eating alot this week because it's making me hungry ASF!!! But now I know, I'll try cut down. X

Personally, I didn't gain any weight anywhere except for on my boobs so it was kind of a positive for me. But you should be fine there's not usually a lot of weight gain with the pill it's more with some other forms of birth control.
