Possibility of Taking baby early
I am 43 years old and now 16 weeks pregnant. With my last I had some issues with my heart during the labor. I was 38 at that time. It was 30 hours long. Longer than the previous 4 put together. Due to my advanced age ( the older you are the sooner the placenta starts (around 37 weeks) to age and degenerate. Causing a high probability of a still birth.) And heart problems during my last delivery. Do you think they will want to take this baby a week or two early. Should I even attempt labor? Or should I request we do a C-section instead? I'm due Dec. 17th. We know the exact day I conceived, so no chance baby can be born to early if taken a week or two early. What are your thoughts? And just for A point of interest this is my 6th pregnancy and 6th. BOY! No frills and lace for this old gal!!
