Regrets?

I know that ultimately this is a decision I'll have to make myself, but do you guys think I'll regret staying with my boyfriend knowing he doesn't want kids? We're kind of at the point now where we are either going to take things to the next step and talk about getting a place together, or unfortunately going out separate ways. I feel like one of us will end up unhappy if we can't compromise. I'm just so stuck about what to do:( I can't picture us not together but I don't want to regret not having kids down the line.
