White period?

I typically have really lite periods, like 2-4 panty liners a day, for 7-10 days. For the last 2 months even when I'm not on my period I have white discharge to the extreme. I have to still go through 2-4 panty liners a day and if I don't I have to change my panties several times. I know that discharge is normal for a healthy vagina but this seems too extreme. It has also gotten a really strong smell that makes me feel the need to shower every chance I get. Does anyone else have a "white period"? How do you deal with it? It makes me feel super unsexy and my boyfriend is starting to tell something's up with me.

Ps I've had an IUD for 3 years if that helps
