possible miscarriage

So I found out on June 17 that I was pregnant I've taken several test to confirm. I hadn't had my first doctors visit it was scheduled for next Wednesday but today I woke up with some bleeding. It wasn't horrible but more than spotting. I went to the ER and they confirmed I was pregnant but my level were low and no baby showed up on ultrasound. He said either miscarriage or earlier than what I thought. I have to follow up with my doctor to see if my levels have gone up or down. I haven't had any cramps or pain and my bleeding hasn't been bad at all it's been light. I'm so confused and heartbroken.
