Nipple Piercings?

My friend recently got them and I thought they were actually really cute so I've been thinking about it. Are there any risks I should know about?

I didn't find them that painful to be honest. I love the way they look and they've made my nipples much more sensitive.

They take forever to heal.. mine never healed properly and kept migrating. Now that i dont have them my nipples have scars that kinda pinch inward if that makes sense but i loved them when they werent in pain

I've had them done since the end of December last year. It does hurt but it depends on your pain tolerance. It wasn't that bad for me. It felt like the worse part was the  two hours after i got them done. My nipples hurt and they were uncomfortable, it wasn't a good feeling. But of course it only lasted two hours. They look great but it's annoying cleaning the crust off of them every other day. And i have to be careful showering with my loofah or it hooks onto them.

They're actually really common piercings these days! Just make sure you go to a reputable tattoo shop with a good piercer. I sell body jewelry where I work and I cannot tell you how many customers get pierced with a nonstandard gauge (14g is average for a nipple piercing) and are really disappointed when they find out they have to stretch their piercing to be able to wear the jewelry they'd like 🙁

The o my risk would be of you plan to breastfeed later in life *I highly recommend it* but lots of women still can you will just have to take them out for a while

I just got mine a few weeks ago and love them, the initial pain was the worst, they don't bother me at all now unless I run into something lol

(accidentally voted risks, I actually have no knowledge about it though) research it (which I guess this kinda is 😊) and go for it if it's still what you want. A lot of people seem to have them so I guess it can't be too many risks if you get it done professionally and keep the piercing clean.
