Why did you originally fall for your SO?

I met my soon to be husband my junior year of high school, and I could not stand him. In fact, being around him made me want to pull my hair out sometimes. As the year went on I continued to detest him but, for some reason in April 2013 something about him changed.
I had started to notice that I didn't mind having class with him, that I liked when he sat next to me in class, I appreciated the way he comforted me when I lost a pet, I like the way he held my hand and told me I would be ok, and I really liked the way it felt when he kissed me which was quite a surprise. 
I now believe the saying "opposites attract", because I fell in love with a man who's my opposite in almost every way. And honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way(:

I always thought my dh was attractive but he was a pothead and I was a preachers kid. Then one night at a coffee shop I was working at him and his friends started talking to me. Apparently he had been attracted to me for a while too and we had a lot more in common than I thought.  Two weeks later he quit smoking cold turkey, five years later and were married.  :)

Me n my husband met my sophomore year of high school. We dated a few weeks on n off. He was too much of a player and too conserned with his friends at the time. What I mean by too concerned with his friends is they dictated who he dated and caused a lot of problems with me at the time. I kinda hated him after that cause he was such an ass lol. Senior year came around and we were both taking a class at a local tech school. We started talking again. He was in a relationship and I was getting ready to leave for basic after senior year. So I wasn't looking for anything. We started hanging out and one night we had what we thought would be a one night stand. No big deal. Well after messing around for 3 months we started dating. I left 4 months later for basic. Came back in December and he proposed. I don't know when I exactly fell inlove with him. But the day I left for basic was the day I realized how in love I was with him. He is what got me threw basic n ait. And he is the only person I wanted the entire time I was gone. We had an unusual past but I wouldn't change it for the world. 3 years later we are married about to celebrate our one year anniversary on the 28th and our first baby will be here a month later.

He was married to my bestfriends friend. Us girls all went to highschool together. I didn't meet him until I was a freshman in college. We talked a little over Facebook during the summer but he was going through the separation and divorce with his ex and I just got out of a relationship with the guy I lost my virginity to. Neither of us were in the right place for a relationship. We didn't meet until November later in the year and we were both just looking for a casual hookup, we didn't really know eachother just little facts here and there and we started sleeping together. Our relationship was very backwards in the beginning, we slept together, went on our first date, started dating, became bestfriends and then about four months into our relationship he told me he loved me. We connect through sex honestly, the times we got the most information out of eachother was after sex. Sometimes we'd cuddle or we would just lay there talking. Fast forward two and a half years and we are engaged, living together, have two furbabies, and we are still completely smitten with one another.

We were friends all throughout  Jr high and high school and had a crush on each other the whole time (the other never knew it). I had long term boyfriends throughout but we became closer and closer friends. The end of my junior year I finally became single and we fell in love immediately (okay, we were in love the whole time). Now 4 years we're engaged and have a sweet 16 month old son:)

My SO was my summer fling.  I had just gotten out of a relationship 3 months prior and olanning on moving 2 hours away from school in the fall.  I went to a cookout, met him, drank one to many drinks, and spent the night... not my finest moment... but he ended up calling me for luncb the next day. And we hungout all summer.  We also planned on just being friends and then when I moved, we would juat forget about eachother. Once I moved we kept in contact and he asked me to be his gf! Long dostance and everything it wokred out and were still together!

Me and my SO met from a girl he dated for 2 months. She was that one friend you think is your friend then they leave the next year of school and never talk to anyone. She ended up cheating on my future SO with our (still) best friend. Me and SO started talking during the summer. Our friends were organizing a get together at the mall and I went along because I never really got to go anywhere. I saw he was there and he had this one friend that didn't like me for some reason. He ended up being so rude to me I got up and walked off. SO followed me and hugged me saying "i like hanging out with you". I felt my heart racing and I guess i knew at that moment. He is my first genuine real love

When I first met my SO we met in a grocery store (how Hollywood) at like 2am. I really wanted milk for my cookies and he was buying bacon and frootloops. I had never been to this particular grocery store so I didn't know where the milk was and I probably looked really stupid. He asked if I needed help and showed me where the milk was and we just started talking and I guess he noticed I was cold while walking with him and he gave me his jacket. Anyways, we ended up hanging out later and he noticed that I wouldn't look in his eyes when he talked to me. He made it his goal for me to and am I ever happy that he did. The second I looked into his eyes I knew I loved him. He's been so patient with me and I think we're just perfect because we are both patient with each other.

Well when we first met, I thought he was cocky and I was sure we'd be a bad match, but made me laugh a lot, then I noticed I was smiling a lot, and I slowly started to feel a strong connection to him, that connection has grown and before I knew it, I fell in love with him.
