Regulating your cycle?

Who had very irregular cycles? Well I do! I get a cycle like every 3-6 months!! This makes TTC very difficult. I have been seeing a doctor but they have not done anything to regulate my cycle. 
Does anyone have any advice on how to get my cycle regular?  What did the doctor do for you?

My doctor put me back on the pill for one month and since they have been regular again!

My doc out me on progesterone. Although the my cycles were regular just insanely light (spotting only). It helped a little.

Either birth control to regulate you or metformin. I have irregular cycles a day since I was actively ttc my on put me on metformin which has worked...

I'm currently taking Maca Root Supplements in order to regulate my cycle after stopping bc a year ago. I started taking them in January and in January I got my first natural AF visit post-pill. I also ordered Fertility Blend Supplements.
