I've been EP for about 7 months now and up until now have never had an issue with nipple tenderness, sensitivity, or soreness, etc. I pump every 5 hours with a 6 to 9 hour stretch overnight, which has been my routine for many months.

I recently changed the membranes on my pumps, which I have done a couple times before. About or around the same time my nipples started getting extremely sensitive when pumping. I'll hook myself up, turn on my machine as usual, only to jump at the pain and have to turn it way down.

When not pumping they're tender and kind of stiff. Not itchy or discolored or oozing any weird stuff.

I've never had much feeling in my nipples and pumping even on high settings never affected me so I'm a little puzzled how my nipples can go from that to this.

Any ideas on what or why this could happen?
