Formula?

I know this group is breastfeeding but I recently switched my baby to formula due to not enough supply ...😖 I was curious to know if anyone who is giving formula to how long is it good for once made? (Prepared)..

2 hours is the new guidelines (about 6-7 years now). Even if stored in fridge any unused milk should be thrown away if not used in 2 hours.

Most formulas have to be made with hot water, so max. 2 hours. Its debated if it is healthy to cool down formula and keep it in the frigde. I used cold bolied water and mixed it with formula, and then kept it in the frigde for three hours tops.

For night feeds i used either the chilled bottle, or had hot water in a thermos on my nightstand. That was easier than warming cold formula!
